I know what you’re thinking, this is only for Yankees fans. But I’m kidding. I’m not going to tell you I’m a Yankees fan. I am a big time baseball fan but not a big time Yankees fan. What I’m going to do is tell you that I’m a huge fan of the New York Yankees and a huge fan of the New York City subway system.
The Yankees have always been known for their “home team” jerseys, which is something I think a lot of Yankees fans can relate to. As for the subway system, it is one of the best in the world. The Brooklyn, Bronx, and Queens subway systems, in fact, are among the best systems for subway service anywhere in the world. I am so proud of the New York City subway system for its reliability, safety, and efficiency.
And so, as I type this, I am proud to say that I work for a subway system, so it’s no surprise that my subway ride was a helluvalot better than that of any other subway rider I know.
I am working for a subway system, and my ride was better than most subway riders I know. But as I said, I am proud of it. It is a great system.
I had a subway ride with a friend on a Saturday, and he was having a great time. I remember the time I walked out of the subway station and walked to the top of the stairs to get to some of the other subway riders and see what they were doing. I was in the middle of a manila envelope that was on the bottom of the stairs. There was a picture of this man standing there with a poster on the top. He was walking up the stairs after me.
I can’t say I know where I would have went during that time, but I wouldn’t have left my envelope behind. I would have picked it up and walked to the top of the same stairs, and then walked down, and then walked back up.
Some people do not like to leave their packages lying around the house. Many other people, however, would rather leave them in the kitchen or in a basket on the back porch. While the idea of leaving your stuff all over the place is a bit odd, but it is more of an excuse for those who are not so picky.
I could tell you all of the reasons why I left my stuff all over the place, but I would rather just say, “I am not going to leave my dog, cat, or dog-walking supplies lying around the house, so I would just like to leave my stuff in the kitchen.
People who feel that they have to leave stuff in the kitchen are generally those who have to do an awful lot of cooking, cleaning, and organizing, but who don’t have the patience to organize their stuff properly. This is the same group of people who find it impossible to find the time to take care of their own stuff.
This kind of “stuff” includes a lot of things like dirty laundry, dishes, glasses, plates, bowls, bags, and other miscellaneous items we don’t normally include on a weekly or monthly basis (like, for example, the things that are all the parts of a set of golf clubs, which would get thrown out if we just threw them in the garbage).
